"Civil War" Theme League

I don't think we should be able to trade players that we should not have anyway. I think they should be dropped before or during waivers. To lessen the impact of this we could extend the live draft a few more rounds.

Coffee, I think that would be a good exception. A prisoner exchange sounds good, in fact I think Bombers brought this subject up earlier..As long as you get rid of your Yank/Rebel vermin after AD and before the season starts prisoner change will be allowed and the war begins..North is full of damn Yankees------lotto on tonite # for the North..High to low..5 round draft beginning tommorow and remember Yanks--these are your teams:

Boston
NYY
NYM
Toronto
Minnesota
Detroit
CWS
Chi Cubs
Cleveland
Seattle
Philadelphia
Cincinatti
Milwaukee
Pittsburg
Washington

I will post div alighnment after the lotto. Hopefully we can find one more southern boy so we can both start tommorow.

If we do a 10 round live draft then I don't think the players we miss in the AD where we end up with enemy players will affect us that much. I will be happy with whatever Pelzer decides for our league however.

How about a comprimise of sorts---I like the prisoner exchange idea, so we go with that but extend the draft to 7 rounds..That would give us all a pretty good start at the teams we are trying to build.. I just think the further the draft goes the harder it will be to sort through the guys who have been drafted and the ones who are available..With a 7 rd draft and 6 teams drafting that will end up being 42 players selected..Alot of sorting..I do like the draft alot better than the AD but want to keep the confusion at a minimum...Is everyone cool with 7 rounds--and we keep prisoner exchange (Trades) after AD and pre-Season for all teams :?:

Sounds fine. Where is that last Southern boy? A call to arms for one last Southerner.

Pelzer, There is no rules about team names other than the state your are from. Is that right? I could be the Florida Crackers or the Florida Zoaves or something like that right?

And we must pick a General from our side as our manager name right?

Pelzer are you saying that the North has better troops (player pool) and better Generals? Looks like we will be the underdogs again. :(

Well Bombers---just like the real thing---The Northern Generals look better on paper but when the war starts they will be outfoxed and outwitted at every turn... :D  I may have found our last general--A couple of guys sent me a PM with interest waning to know how to sign up and I told them to go through all the posts as some rules have changed since the beginning and if interested make a post to join...So the south may be full as well before long. :D
