***Fun, Unusual and Informative***

Postby nevdully's » Tue May 09, 2006 9:32 am

We had a thread back on the old boards (I miss them) for all kinda good stuff that doesn't make Moose's record book. Great games or outstanding seasons from unexpected players. Single game performances, be it a star or from a seldom used bench player etc. etc. I hope we can get it going again.

All I ask is we keep things positive. (not for venting, lol)

I'll start .....

Gantner, J. L 2B 2e17 419 42 22 5 57 16 2 15 .332 .434 .356 1R 1.93M
I love Gumby in a 2b platoon, especially in 50/60M leagues.

Gandil, C. R 1B 1e4 510 56 32 3 51 30 5 3 .300 .396 .340 E 1.59M
Chick's not too shabby in 50M leagues either.

Sanderson, S. R S7* 15 13 0 264.0 269 120 87 139 4.09 1.35 1R 1.81M
Another solid Sanderson in a neutral park.

Dobson, P. R S7/R3 15 7 0 197.1 134 61 79 116 2.78 1.08 1R 4.00M
IMO, the #1 SP under 5M in pitchers parks, hands down.

I thought this was a very good showing for Pesky . Team did well but lost in playoffs.
