The main difference in this version is you do not play the game head to head. Hal (the computer manager) plays the games at a pace of 3 games per night (1 series). You set your lineups, rotation, and personal settings for all your players (ie. steal more, don't bunt, etc...) This 3 game per night pace completes the season in about 8 weeks. Playoffs follow. This would be a great league for you to join. It has mostly first time players and has some great options for a beginner. You can drop players and pick up free agents! You usually only get 80% of a player salary when you drop them from your roster. In this league, we have a 5/10/20% option for free agents. If you drop a player in the first 40 games, you only lose 5% of their salary, 10% games 41-80, 20% after game 81. Once you pay your $24.95, you will be taken to your draft page and easy to follow instructions. When your draft is complete, you will be asked to join a league. You will select private league and look for SOUTHERN ILLINOIS. You will be asked to enter a password - salukis. Let me know if you have any questions.
