Buckner/Quirk Platoon in Polo

Buckner/Quirk Platoon in Polo

Now, it's not really real "platoon" per se, because if either Meusal or Cochrane got hurt, HAL would start Quirk in their position and Buckner at 1b, so you're looking at about 150-200 ABs extra per player.

Tm G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB CS BA SLG OBP

Buckner
SHO 128 389 33 96 19 0 12 41 15 23 1 1 .247 .388 .276

Quirk
SHO 118 433 49 106 9 1 27 83 17 74 3 1 .245 .457 .274

Not staggering #s but pretty decent for the cost. I wish ATGII kept track of game winning hits or Player of the Game, because these guys probably would have had 5-7 each...when Simmons, Foxx, and Hack weren't hitting. I will be putting Quirk on my next Polo team For sure, but not sure who's gonna to hit against lefties (Ray Knight? Kevin Mitchell?)

Maybe Roenicke?

I had Dave Chalk catch a few games. Parrish was hurt on 5 separate occasions, the most I've had him get hurt.

HAL won't move Quirk into the game at Catcher if he's in the lineup at DH.

Was happy with the numbers tho.
