MLB 2006 Opening Day SOM League

My team still does not have a +.300 OBP  :o

I was not expecting us to lead the league in OBP, but I did name my team what I did expecting them to draw a fair # of walks! Other than Giles & Edmonds, everyone is disappointing OBP wise ...

Any interest in Jeter? Guy is 100 points below AVG. OBP & SLG! :( :o :x

Cannot complain about my pitching though - although I suppose it helps that there is no DH and I have low BP Singles.

Back to .500 again ... hopefully this time we can climb over for longer than 1 series ...

Team still does not have an OBP over .300.

Derek Jeter has been a pretty big disappointment. I guess he just is not suited for a park like Great American.

Cannot complain about my pitching though!

Only 3 days until the 20% Cap Hit takes effect.

Well I've climbed over .500 again [b:7937188a56]and[/b:7937188a56] my teams OBP finally reached .300 ... now hopefully both will be more than brief flirtations!

Meanwhile, the Sounds finally score some runs but lose 11-9. That's how you go 1-9 and continue falling fast.

Back under .500 again ... well flirting with .500 all season is better than being below all the time!

Very true! I just prefer the upswings of the yo yo than the downward spirals LOL.

Would be thrilled to be anywhere near .500. Gobblers have been a disaster since Day 1 ... can't hit, pitch or field. Don't know what I was thinking when I drafted this group, but whatever it was I missed my guesstimates badly. Will deal anybody at this point, including ARod or Pujols, since I can't do any worse.
