Are F.Peterson and C.Osteen the Pete and Koufax of 69???

Seriously folks, it's early but I did not expect these numbers from them after 6 games:

I may be shooting myself in the foot here but if it continues this way, I will have to retract my statements about the new 69 league lacking talent.

Fritz Peterson: 2-0 1.84 ERA / 0.95 WHIP
C.Osteen: 2-0 1.13 ERA / 8.81 WHIP

Sorry, 0.81 whip. WHIP, an 8.81 WHIP. That would be sad...

you are simply lucky early on because their card numbers dont even come close too Pete or Koufax

26 TBs vs RHP makes them are more like Hughson and Covelesky. Please dont insult Pete or Koufax ;)

I have similar numbers for both after 9 games... the only problem is my defense and hitting has hurt Olsteen.... Fritz is 2-0 also

.....agree penn but you also have to factor the hitting end of the quotient. Fritz and Osteen will not face Cobb, Mantle Hornsby et al. As such that object in the mirror may be closer than it appears

Tell ya what - I'll call 'em Hubbell and Cicotte.

Now, if I could get Messersmith and Singer to stop pitching like the 2005 versions of Schilling and Mussina.
