He can drop Jones and pick up anyone else as far as i am concerned. I cant imangine who he selects will be one of my 15 other selections. If he happens to be, I will drop and pick up someone else.

I personally don't care one way or the other about Jones for my team. As long as everyone is aware that Jones is available to pick up in the AD it is fine with me to drop Jones. However I am not sure about picking a replacement player at this time. What if someone has joined the league already and listed the player Mark may choose? That would screw all the owners that may have chosen that same player on their AD card.

I think Mark can drop Jones if he wants but am not so sure about adding a different player at this time. Am I wrong here?

Apparently we won't fill the league tonight for a Monday start so we have plenty of time to talk this one through.

It's probably just as well we don't try to start Monday because the prisoner exchange will take some time. Would like to get league filled out and AD run ASAP, though, so we can get on with it.

I don't see where the prisoner exchange is gonna even be happening..Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't it say in the game rules that the person that selects the player the highest will win him?? Now if that is the case, we should get ALL our drafted players because we should be the one and only team to have placed him on our draft clique----------Correct or no??

Larry, Lets say you have Carlos Delgado on your draft card ranked #3. Lets say I have Carlos Delgado on my draft card ranked #2. If no one else had him ranked higher than I would get Delgado and you would get the next highest priced 1B that was not on someone else's AD card. TSN doesn't know that you can only use players from the "South" teams. You may end up with a player from a North team that you can't use. You would then either have to use the prisoner exchange (trade him to a North team for a South player they may have gotten) or drop him and pick up a South player from the free agent pool.

That is what is being discussed.

If you are referring to our 8 live draft picks then you are right that no other team will have those players on their AD card. If they do by accident then they MUST make sure that they give that player up to you ASAP.
