Ark., in live drafts I've been involved with, the rule of etiquette is you must put the players you draft on your draft card. If you drop them during or after waivers, that's fine. But, it's not my call. Petrosian would be the one to decide on that issue, I believe. If you mean a player you JUST picked, that's different, just get someone to approve the drop. I was talking about after the draft is completed.

what sort of procedure is neccessary for approval? I mean, is there a checkbox for drop approval somewhere?

I don't have a problem with player drops during the draft. However, it is Petrosian's call.

Someone other than you has to approve the drop. Waiting on Petrosian to rule. It's his call.
