the "High-Low,Weighted Waivers League" IS FULL

Postby roofinghorse1 » Sat May 13, 2006 2:45 pm

there are 105 hitters under 1 million and 77 pitchers under 1 mil. thats 182 players under 1 mil, and divided by 12 teams is 15 players each.-thats the low.
And the high is anybody else you want.(clemons down to burgmier)10 players to fill out your roster.

THE RULES:
1. All teams must carry 15 players under 1 mil.
2.All teams must carry 25 players at all times.(not 23,24 or 26,27,28)
3. No unique stadiums.
4. No set limits on pitchers or hitters.you can carry 12,11,or 10 pitchers, as you wish.As long as you have 25 players.
5.in fairness to everybody else, after the auto draft is run you must cut down to the 15 -under 1 mil- players.
6. 80 million league
7. we will be allowed to drop 1- .75 mil. player right before each percentage drop for free agents(so at the end of the season we each will have 12 -.75 mil. players on each club)

Now if you think about it,a team could draft all pitching or all hitting, but where would that put your team???where do you draft (remy, clemons, brett,??)
this has the potential to be a fun and challenging league with plenty of opportunity for quality free agents.
so come on and join and lets get this ball rolling..no password needed, after enough sign up i,ll start the league..................

BE SURE TO JOIN THE "WEIGHTED WAIVERS VERSION OF THE LEAGUE!!!

Roof, This league sounds like fun to me! I would join except I will be on vacation the week before Memorial day (week after next) and I don't want to start up any more leagues until my return. Other than that I would be signing up! :D

Great idea. I'm going out of town to a conference beginning on Sat, so if this takes off this week I can't do it. I'll check next week to see if you have spots, but I doubt it.

i was about to give up.
i really thought this would be different and fun.And i was thinkin if we need it we could drop 1 -.75 center right before the 95% and 1 before the 90% and 1 before the 80% marks so at the end of the season we,ll still have 12- 75 centers and it won,t dilute too much from the theme but also maybe leave room for improvement for contenders..

what do you guys think?
