All right, someone's gotta do it, so it may as well be me ........ It's time to start a thread about the worst trade offers you have EVER received.

I have had 82 completed teams:
First 41 3349-3293 (.504) 11 Playoffs 1 Championship
Last 41 3618-3024 (.545) 26 Playoffs 11 Champsionships

What's the difference? Pitching. When I [i:75b55e8448]did[/i:75b55e8448] make the playoffs before, I always seemed to have a Dean type going up against a Camnitz type. I always lost. Now, almost every team I build is in a pitcher's park with 2 big time pitchers and an assortment of value guys on offense and in the pen. It works.

As for trading, I typically don't do it. There's usually a better fit for the money on the FA wire. I try to respond to every trade offer though, especially if it's a situation where you know someone had to put some thought into making the salaries work out.

If we think the luck of the dice matters in the regular season, think about the playoffs. Those who claim credit for winning lots of championships might want to thank their lucky stars as well...

Yeah, that's it :!: All luck in the playoffs! That explains how Adrian and his spreadsheets just knowcke me out of another one.

Now at 14-18 in Finals. :(

Great finals series, though we split the first two nights, alternated the next two and lost the final game 7 in a slugfest in Forbes with Camnitz coing up against Hubbel.

My first three losses were all in extra innings. Great series!
