Injuries - random or not?

Are injuries completely random, or is a player that gets injured subject to more frequent injuries down the line? I just picked up Polanco and he got hurt twice in the span of 12 games. I know he's a 2 inj factor, but should I be even more concerned now that he's been hurt twice so quickly?
