Crawford is a GREAT hitter, great base stealer, great clutch and in Bennett he'll wail, but you have to get past his defense 2(+?)e12 CF/ 4e30 1B...I"ve had him and I don't recommend playing him in CF, his 2 rating coupled with his + arm will hurt you, you can get by with his D at 1B, in my opinion one of the BEST #5 hitters for a small ball team....

Crawford's a decent choice in Bennett. Who are your other choices?

Here he was as my CF on my Tiger team in Bennett. Rotated him with Trammell as my 5-6 hitter.

Because of other options lost, I put Crawford at 1B on a Forbes team, with a late inning defensive replacement. The results weren't bad, considering I won a championship with this team:

Wasn't his nickname "Wahoo?" Now THAT is a reason to draft him, right there.
