Can someone please post a link to the draft site. I am at home and do not have the address here.

He's the only 600+PA Catcher in the set and a pretty good card.

True...but you can get the same/more out of the plethera of good platoons ...for less.

Splinter, We are not really concerned about conserving money in this league. Sykes would rather have Torre's good card assured of not missing more than 3 games in a row rather than scrimping on salary.

Funny...you guys (like Sykes) are all "worried" about the first couple of picks but just like in Rotisserie (which I have been doing for 15 years), the crux of a champion is the middle to late rounds....
Right now these are all "no brainer" picks........you can't go wrong....there's a plethora of talent out there (for maybe another 2 rounds!)

Sneezer: I am towards the end of a Live Draft. The talent pool is thinner than you think.............

Steals will not be common in this 24 team league.

Catcher is one of the thinest positions in the set and in a 24 team league, a position I will never need to worry about for 25 more rounds.

What was left at 2B and SS did not warrant my draft pick.

Wockie...Have to tell you, I think the talent pool is WAY thin after the first few rounds so if it is thinner than I think :o , we are all in for pathetic teams!
How are things down the road from me?
