As we move toward the 3/4 mark of round 1, I thought I'd throw this out there re: round 2. As mentioned in the initial thread, all playoff teams will advance, as will the top 5 teams in each of the 4 brackets. The seeding will be as follows:
[b:381c14d723]Bracket 1 - Champ #1, Runnerup #2, Runnerup #3, Playoff #4, Playoff #5
Bracket 2 - Champ #2, Runnerup #1, Runnerup #4, Playoff #3, Playoff #6
Bracket 3 - Champ #3, Champ #4, Playoff #1, Playoff #2, Playoff #7, Playoff #8[/b:381c14d723]
The non-playoff teams (top 5 from each of the 4 brackets) will then be placed into the above brackets in a serpentine fashion, beginning with Bracket 2, then Bracket 1, Bracket 1, Bracket 2, Bracket 3, Bracket 3, etc.
The tiebreaker for [i:381c14d723]each category (e.g., champ, runner up, playoff, non-playoff) [/i:381c14d723]of the above will be as follows:
1. Best record
2. Head to head (obviously, this will not apply to the Champ or Runnerup breakdowns)
3. Run differential
4. Original seeding (I think it makes more sense to use this as a fallback rather than pick 3, as originally proposed - also will save time)
If I've missed something, please let me know, and good luck in the last 50+ games!
