the Dirty D's 13 game win streak ends due to the some tough pitching at Fenway.

I guess that i'll just have to start a new streak hehe

Looks like my Stratzillas (66 - 63) are playing more like Chumpzilla's. Still...I think they will make it to the second round. Bright spots on my team are Darryl Strawberry (.891 OPS, 111 RBI's) and Mike Scott (17-9, 3.07 ERA and 1.08 WHIP).

Just about everyone else on the team is a notch better than "sucks".

holy injuries

With my two best hitters on the DL for the series against the Tea Swingers, all i can say is that i'm glad that I have a 6 game lead in the Central.. I guess now is a better time to get injured than the playoffs.

We're likin' the emoticon, GoodDoc!
An amazing season so far for the Ankle Biters...
...The Magic of Lucky Cards!
(Not that a nosedive can't happen, like in, oh, every other season I've played, but this is my first decent chance for a postseason appearance).
Now, if Eddie Murray could just please regain his first-half sweet stroke.

Showdown for Round 2!

Postby JIMDAKE » Fri Jun 02, 2006 7:04 am

That would suggest a last minute rush by Wagon Queen to squeeze out Admirals for 9th best record and advancement to next round. Despite no head-to-heads, that's the best race in this bracket right now. Admirals up by 2 games with 24 to run. They've made a lot of recent moves with the pitching staff, lots of low-innings guys. Watch this space!

15 games left

Postby TheGoodDoc » Mon Jun 05, 2006 12:32 am

Magic Number updates:

Ankle Biters #4
Dirty D #7
Bracket Busters #10

Wildcard race:

Yankee Clippers -
Dortmont Tea Swingers 6.0
Stratzillas 7.0

Dead heat b.w the Admirals and the Wagon Queen Familty Trucksters for the 9th spot... Will we see a #1 seed fall in the first round?!?

...with 6 of my last 15 games against them (3 tonite). He gets Rick "it ain't lookin' like my '81 year" Honeycut, Reuss & Doc "is white powder a performance enhancing substance?"
