Do I have to keep hitting refresh or if a pick is made does it automatically turn up?

For those of us who have never done this before why do some hitters have * at first I thought it meant they were * base stealers but now seeing how ARod doesn't have an * but is an * stealer I see this isn't the case.

I will rely heavily on proxies as the draft progresses but I want to make my 1-2 picks after seeing who's gone. I'll check in after work tomorrow and hopefully we will be close. I have 3 kids playing ball now and no computer access at work so my time online is limited.

I will use proxies after round 2. It's pretty easy to set them up with Penn's site.
