This live draft sucks. We are in round 2 and the last pick was made 12 hours ago. At this pace I'll be playing this league from a nursing home :!: :roll: :P :x :( :)

Guys, I've found that when I've become impatient with the pace of a live draft and voiced my concern, invariably something comes up that causes me to delay the draft. Barring a miracle, we won't be starting play in this league before June 5th anyway, so we might as well relax and come to terms with the fact that this may take a little longer than expected.

When setting up your proxies:

1) click "Create a Proxy"

2) "Find" your player

3) type in the correct "player ID"

4) My suggestion is to leave the "round" at 0

5) set your "priority" (1 for your first choice, 2 for your second choice, and so on)

6) If you don't want to select priority 2 ( or later) if pick #1 is selected, make sure to select "Yes" under "delete if group selected"

7) click "create proxy"

8 Make sure proxies are "On"


When a manager's time limit has expired, proxies will not automatically execute. The next manager up must make his poick manually to proceed (subsequent proxies will then execute).

Listen, I have set up my proxie. How long should I wait until I pick my second round? I don't want to step on anybody's toes. I'll let the census be my guide. And please, anyone but that tubby guy with a suggestion. :P

Thanks Coffee. I was obviously doing it wrong. I was putting the player in then hitting create a proxy

pick now. He knew the draft started yesterday. He should have picked by now. If it happens to me, which it might, I would expect to be passed up.

I tried doing my proxies the way you listed it. If I hit create a proxy before selecing a player, it says invalid player number. :?

Give Boss Hogg until 10:21am before making your pick (7:21pm until 10:00pm last night and 9:00am until 10:21am this morning is the equivalent to 4 hours on the clock... since we were still at 4 hours the last time Boss Hogg checked in... we'll switch to 2 hours once he's picked or been skipped)

Please keep in mind that we need to protect the integrity of the draft! Nothing worse than having a manager get hosed by the draft process and then decide to drop out! :cry:

ARe you putting the "player ID" in when making your proxy selections?

It would be very helpful if we communicate with each other about times we will not have access to the draft site.

For example: "Guys, I'm going to be away from my computer from 10:00 am until 3:00pm today. I've loaded proxies and will check in as soon as possible."
