The Purple Doodlebugs have loaded into the east. With 3rd place standings in division play in event 1 and event 2, and both teams severely under .500, we are hoping to have our first .500 finish. In event 1, Clemens was 20 game loser after 130 games, so I traded him for Doug Davis and Chris Carpenter last night. I threw in a 500K slug.
Our new purple uniforms have arrived with the big purple doodlebug on the chest.
Deprived of oxygen most of their lives, the doodlebug from the purple province in North Africa has migrated to America, the land of the free and the home of the Braves. In order to fit into the home of the Braves, they made sure they drafted Jeff Francouer. After all, the province was originally French.
In America they have found life best suited in the home of Frank Sinatra in Hoboken, NJ. They feed on the cakes found in urinals and live a much happier life here. I think it is because their minds are so glazed from eating the urinal cakes that they don't realize they are living in Hoboken.
Continuing their love of the French, they also drafted Larue.
They are now ready for event 3. A good draft is a no need waiver draft. As far as they are concerned, they are ready to play whenever.
Good luck to all, and make sure your players check their shoes before putting them on when they come to our ballpark. A squished purple doodlebug after a urinal cake feast can be pretty smelly.
