LOTO 2006 WARMUP LEAGUE...

Postby ROBERTVOZZA » Sun May 21, 2006 12:26 pm

Definitely glad to have you aboard, Jamie...You are definitely one of the TOP 10 Strat Players IMO. Always ultra competitive, always cool. Those are the type players that get invited to play LOTO.

There were about 30 -35 Players I played a lot with over the past 4 yrs that this LOTO Group evolved from. Everyone has given me so much positive response about the level of competition and enjoyment of the cameraderie of like peers that I decided to play in more auto leagues last year to find more new highly competitive players who were very cool and have added at least another league and a half to the existing 24-30 players who participated through 05'.

So I really anticipate that this Tour will be the best ever.

Well my team managed to pull off the upset despite my pitching staff's repeated efforts to grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

Hat's off to Jeff on a great season.

Tourwise, my team had five great weeks and then mailed it in. I am so ticked with that team. I've still got an outside shot at the WC but I'm not in any way expecting to see the postseason. Thinking back though I guess I can't complain too much since I really didn't build the team well and had to tweak the heck out of it to get them to win as many as they did. Ah well, back to the drawingboard I guess.

On another note, I'm looking forward to the LOTO tour. Sounds like a blast! :D :D

Congrats to C-squared on making the finals! This should be a fun and interesting Finals. Rumor has it that Robvoz dressed in RJ gear will be throwing out the first pitch!

As for my Tour team...They folded like a cheap suit. :x

Congrats to the finalists.

What a great game 5. Both aces going. No score until the 9th. I score 1 and then Chuck scores 3 against my closer. Would have been an intense game to see live and pretty thrilling for the winners.

GL in the finals and I'm planning for payback in LOTO 06.

2nd Time Tyber has reached the Finals in LOTO...

Postby ROBERTVOZZA » Fri May 26, 2006 4:20 am

The last time, he had Penngray on the ropes 3-1 and let him back in it...

Will his team of Destiny, be able to comeback from down 2-0 on its way home for 3?

Stay Tuned...

Wooof...20 Innings to get by on game 1. Methinks Ty is just tiring me before delivering the final blows.

Nice team them Hatemongers.

My team is just coming down from that game 5 vs. Stoney and dives straight back into a 20 inning marathon...aaaaand Tyber was right: the ceremonial first pitch WAS thrown by Fruit Bearing Rob  [i:8f7d0957a4]With[/i:8f7d0957a4] the fire engine red g-string showing

So, now on to the Angy Hatemonger's quarters... oooh boy...getting the bandaids out for my poor pitching staff as I write this.

Good luck Ty 8)

I'd feel a little better if the team would have split the opening games. Can't say the team didn't try though. Twenty innings?! Geesh!

That all being said, this team has been a total mystery to me all season long. In all honesty I have no idea how this is gonna turn out?? I can see this thing going 7 or I could see a sweep, it's just that kind of team.

That was some first game !!! I HATE losing those long games. I think that's the longest game I've seen in a league I've been involved in.

Tyber, at least you get to play at home tonight. I say you even up the series at 2 tonight. You knocked me out so I need to pull for your team so that I can say, "Of course I lost in the first round, I was up against the league Champ !!!"

Jeff :)

LOL! Jeff, you and I think the same way. I always pull for the team that beat me just so I can use that same explanation.
