Bob, thanks for the research and stats. Sounds like an intriguing theme. We should call it the Moonlight Graham league. A lot of these guys sound like they got picked up hitchhiking along a highway somewhere and are getting their one shot at the big leagues. Sounds like fun.......I think! :wink:

Most likely it will be Monday before I can enter my team unless I can get enough computer time while at the in-laws (and not driving all over Arizona). They live about 1.5 hours from Phoenix so that's the drive after flying in tonight. Sunday it's a 2 hour drive to where the 50th anniversery party is then we have to drive back to Phoenix as we have an early Monday flight home.

It is illegal to "rig" state lotteries so that you can get first choice in Strato Online Theme Leagues. I don't know what the penalty is, but I'm sure it's pretty steep! :(

I think msheaf is OK if pops his team in on Monday. Lets automatically assign him a western division slot so that the rest of the league can create their team while he is in HOT Arizona!! I just moved to Boise from Phoenix last year. I'm kinda glad. 5 years of 110+ degree summer days got a little tiresome. Boise is a little milder and a hell of a lot less traffic! :shock:

BTW, is DH or No DH?

Just my 2 cents...

Not sure if you will be required to keep a $40m salary in 1969 for a 60m league.

May cause issues. Have not created a team yet though to test this.

Glad I saved that 1 1969 credit I had left and now will need to figure out what to do with the 2 I will win from this theme. :wink:

Hopefully we will see alot of trades in this theme. Normally people are afraid to let their top tiered players go but since there are no top tiered players....well.


I have been tinkering with a draft card and have absolutely no idea how to rank them. I think we can all figure out value players based on the stadium we choose but trying to rank them is going to be a chore

We can load on a first come first serve basis if everyone wants to forego another lottery tonight? I am about ready to enter a team. I originally listed to have another lottery so no one could pick and choose who they are in a division with.

Any thoughts?

Tax, this is where you finally pull one out. Use the word "ironic" somewhere in your team name.

Also, does this mean no tax tips for '07?
