NLD 13 Draft thread

I think it's more that you have been #1 or #2 overall all season and have enjoyed a big lead in your division all season long. Not under the radar - more on cruise control to the playoffs for you. 8)

You could trade places with Ninersphan, this season's other front-runner. I am quite sure that he would have preferred for ArrylT to stay in fourth place in the Central. AT has been an absolute steamroller ever since he tweaked his team three weeks ago.

Well it took our team a few series to gel - but otherwise you're right.

I took a look back a couple of days ago to see how well my team had played, and we've won 41 of the past 57 games. The funny thing is that when I made the changes I was going to be happy if we could just finish near .500. Now I'll be disappointed if we finished at .500!

Who knows when the hot streak will end - but I will just enjoy it while it lasts. I guess it balances out my Tour Event II team which has played horribly (also 100m) and I've got no idea there what to do with it.

Yikes! From no sweeps to only sweeps - you don't see something like that very often.[/quote:e4989fadbb]

You're telling me! We stopped that streak tonight. Won 2 of 3 from Niners, but lost ground because AT swept Semper. Must be nice to be 10 games over with a +13 differential. :? AT is going to have to stay healthy, that's one injury prone team! He's not that good v RHP, but hits LHP pretty well. Strange for a Safeco team.

We're going to have to kick booty on AT to have a chance.

I don't know what's worse, Having a $Hitty team to start the year and having no chance, or having a good team collapse at the end of the year.

Carlos Zambrano has not won a game in [b:44d8f25116]12 consecutive starts[/b:44d8f25116] He's 0-6 and 6 no decisions, he's been stuck on 12 wins [b:44d8f25116]forever[/b:44d8f25116]

I guess this is the other side of the coin for Turnbow's success at the start of the year aye joe???

Yeah my team is a little injury prone - I won last nights sweep without 2 of my best hitters - Giles & Alou, and was also missed Redmond. Of course that meant Suzuki & Matheny were playing so the offense was sort of compensated for by 1 range defense.

I wasnt expecting to sweep - but the longer my hot streak goes on the better! :)

I hear ya Niners, we tanked in a huge way down the stretch. Never been swept so often in TSN EVER. Oh well, guess we'll get a good draft spot in the next round. :(

Carlos Zambrano has not won a game in [b:3a28e74138]13 [/b:3a28e74138]consecutive starts He's [b:3a28e74138]0-7[/b:3a28e74138] and 6 no decisions, he's been stuck on 12 wins forever.

BUT

We did take 2 out of 3 to slow the Centurion express down a little bit. Hopefully my division mates can do the same...

Well at least I'm guaranteed a .500 record. :)

I think that makes my 4th or 5th straight NLD .500+ finish. :)
