I'm just gauging the level of interest so I know whether or not I need to budget in $25 for a BTT80s team or not. :)

Rebounded from being swept to earn my first sweep of the season. :)

Guess I have the bad Bell card (of 83 or 84) and Browning and Saberhagen have been somewhat of a disappointment. :(

Ouch! :(

I guess I better make some changes soon - otherwise this squad will be at least as bad as my previous squad!

Quite interesting how 2 similar squads can produce such varied results.

Coaching

The coaching is probably the biggest factor

Well I cannot fire myself LOL - so I guess I am stuck with my inadequate coaching skillz LOL.

On the plus side, Bryn Smith looks to be a good replacement for Saberhagen. :)

Finally got tired of Brownings ineptitude - hopefully Tanana won't be any worse, and ideally somewhat better.

I like Tanana already - if only for the fact that he won a game!! :D Something Browning could never do.

The fact that he pitched 8 innings of shutout ball doesnt hurt either! :)

Smith & Tanana (my replacements for Saberhagen & Browning) are now a combined 5-0. I'm sure they'll cool down - but it is nice to have your changes make a difference. :)

Down to 7k now that I've cut Dawley and added Vandeberg. Can I borrow some spare change anyone? :D

HAL has used A. Griffin as a pinch runner successfully twice for me in last nights series - I wonder what the odds of that occuring are.

He also used E. Lynch (the 5th starter who I use as a bench warmer  ) in relief, and Lynch pitched 2+ shutout innings.

I can only hope HAL keeps up the good work! :)

Won a sweep at home - winning 2 of 3 by 1 run. Hopefully we'll be able to build upon this and play strong on the road. :)
