I am fine with that as well, just remember that if guys did not use proxies on Penn's site which helps move the draft along, just think how long it will take to do the other 10 Rounds. And if Penn's site does not come back-up, I will be gone from the 3rd to the 5th and there will be no proxies. Should we decide to shorten the draft, I think that we'll at least have to go through 10 rounds so that:

1) An even number of rounds guarantees fairness through the serpentine nature of the draft;

2) We'll all have the opportunity to select a stadium.

My own feelings on the matter are that getting 10 more rounds in via this thread could be excruciatingly slow, if not impossible (I'm worried about just getting 2 more in).


9 draft picks and a stadium should give us all a solid foundation upon which to build our teams, but should also leave enough open to make waivers and pre-season moves meaningful.

What say we get a vote on how to proceed?

This is the first time I am using Penn's site and I must say that I really don't like it. Besides the breakdown, my proxies aren't working right (Russ Adams??), and I keep missing picks even though I've tried to make proxies 5 rounds in advance. I'll take the blame, but let's shorten this one.

My next two picks will be Cliff Politte, and then Luis Gonazalez (COL). Thanks to all.

I agree with BUM. I'm not to thrillrf with the live draft site. When I tried to set proxies I got the same eror message as we all are getting now.

How do you know Wwetz or BossHogg didn't take L. Gonzalez(Col) in the 7th or 8th rounds?

Also, you made a 9th round pick before the last pick in the 8th round was made.

I am up wisth the last pick in the 8th round then I have the 1st pick in the 9th. [b:10c676c14c]BUT[/b:10c676c14c] we can not pick until we know Wwetz and BossHogg's picks from the 7th and 8th rounds.

What was your pick in the 7th round? Once we have that we are missing only 4 picks.

My vote is this: If the site comes back on by Tuesday afternoon finish the draft. That would enable BED( SGT D) to proxy. If the site is still down attempt to finish the draft on these boards.
I agree with raiders91 on finishing the 18 rounds on the boards.

If we never had Penn's site we wouldn't shorten the draft to 10 rounds just because its moving so slowly.

Maybe SGT D could give his proxies to Teepack or someone outside the league.

Also, since The R. Adams was obviouly a mistake, we should allow Beachbum to draft two players in the next round- one to replace the mistake.

... I am fine with 10 rounds. However, I do agree we should wait until Wednesday morning to see if the site comes back online. If it does, we should finish there. If not, just finish the 10 rounds and then autodraft the rest. We just have to make sure everyone drafts a stadium.
