bump, does anyone have Cubit's email? how are we ever supposed to have a draft if he has no access ever??? his last forum post was May 10.

Fellas, I appreciate the chance to join you all, but things have changed and I no longer have the time or inclination for TSN SOM. Doesn't seem like this is gonna get off the ground anyway.

Ok this is what I propose.
1 - Replace bigmahon
2 - Replace Cubit if necessary
3 - Start a new live draft on penngrays site
4 - Start a new chat thread - put [b:5d6df356a2]ALL of the rules & info at the beginning of the thread[/b:5d6df356a2]
Hear me out.
What we will do is [b:5d6df356a2]EXCLUDE[/b:5d6df356a2] everyones keepers, and make it a 16 round draft (15 players + 1 ballpark). If you have more than 10 keepers, you draft [b:5d6df356a2]SCRUBS[/b:5d6df356a2] once your keepers + drafted players = 25 players. Keeping your ballpark - draft it in Round 16. We'll post a list of unavailable ballparks, and if mistakes occur, the offending owner can drop his mistake park & grab a new one.
By [b:5d6df356a2]EXCLUDING[/b:5d6df356a2] the keepers - they cannot be drafted, so it won't matter if you have 10-11-12-13 or 25 keepers.
It will also ensure we all start drafting FA's at the same time.
We wont have to rely on penngray. We wont have to wait for people to load proxies. We won't have to fight with the draft applet when some owners have 12 keepers while others have 10.
To be honest, I do not want to replace Cubit - but if his schedule is going to keep him awol for days or weeks at a time - unless everyone is willing to be very patient and wait it out - we might not get this off the ground before the World Series starts. :wink:
To help any new recruit(s) - especially so they don't have to go through 13 pages of a thread - I think starting a new thread and consolidating all the info & rules together for OKL I would be a good idea.
Finally - I've finished some of my commitments, so I am able to lend more of a hand keeping us moving. Even if we move at a crawl - forward progress = positive outlook while no progress = frustration & owner apathy.

i agree too, this has gotten just silly, lets get this going, hell some of us are supposed to have a league after this one!!!

whatever we need to do to get the thing rolling. I can't wait to have Pujols and Cabrera in the same lineup together...
BTW, I won't be available tomorrow after noon until Thursday Morning. I'm taking a little trip down to Connecticut to visit my old college roommate and tour ESPN. He's worked there for the last 13 years. I also have a resume in there for a directors job and am hoping to schmooze some of the right people while I'm there. Rob, (my college roomie) has hand delivered it to the right people, but there's a lot of competition for the spot so who knows...
