Hard-Core Keeper League

Sandy says slow down??? I just spit coffee all over my computer when I read that. :D :D

Being close to the Royals I have to agree that it's better to be a Marlins fan. At least they have hope.

Royals did fire their GM yesterday so that may make a difference. Now if only that tight ass owner would open his pocketbooks and decided to keep some of the young talent. Saw alot of Alex Gordon's college ball (NU season ticket holder) and he's going to be a good one if they can keep him.

Personal trivia - went to many Royals games as a kid but became a die-hard Phillies fan in 1980 when they beat the Royals in the WS. Been a fan every since though some (ok many) people would wonder why.

LOL Stoney you killed me with the coffee splutter line.

Sandy 1st round the clock doesn't kick in, right? Anyway, good incentive to load up some proxies. It helps to see who's been taken of course, but in this kind of draft, where TSN value plays no role, I think not too hard to set up lists/proxies...not to say there won't be tough calls but let's give it a shot...

It's close between KC and Florida. The Royals are a wreck and Florida's total team payroll is $16 million. C'mon! Alex Rodriguez makes more than that by himself, I think!

Rough in both KC and Florida. Baird let go (like it was his fault?) and Braves' heir apparent GM takes the KC job. Makes things interesting now here in Atlanta.

I love FL's rookies though, and they have young pitching which is really really good. KC has way too many washed-up players though. They could/should be developing more younger guys via ABs/IPs at the ML level....

For Penn's site it's NHSTEVEN...

KD - I kind of want to see how the 1st round shakes out, so for now going to keep Albert. I may change my mind later but for now I have a little bit of a plan forming, need to see if rest of 1st round makes it doable or not...

Ok guys, heading to the office now, try to check in on the draft site at lunchtime & will check boards here when I get in. For 1st round I think clock should be off until all picks have been made, but just in case, don't try to prompt proxy firing during 1st round unless the player has checked in & noted that a proxy was left....

Thx,

Qk

Well, the three most obvious picks have been made (imho) which means now the hard part comes. I have NO idea who to take with my pick. :?
