Question

Postby Jservi » Thu Jun 01, 2006 1:38 am

Ok, It will be obvious I have never done this live draft thing before, but I was reading the rules clarification post and it talked about the 18 rounds and the draft card for remainder. I have no idea what that means. Where is the draft card? How does this work?

Each makes 18 picks in the draft, at least one of which must be a stadium. When the draft is concluded, we all enter our teams--16 or 17 players that we drafted, 8 or 9 players who we didn't draft and who weren't drafted by anyone else (the actual number of each depends on whether you drafted one or two stadiums), and a stadium (which you've picked in the draft). When you fill out your draft card, you rank the whose rights you own from the draft on the bottom and the players you hope to pick up on the top.

Whew.

Now who's up?

1) You MUST add the 17 players and the stadium drafted on on the draft website to your auto draft card.

2) You select the remaining 8 players on the autodraft draft card. They are preferenced 1-8.

3) THIS MEANS YOU MUST BE ABLE TO FILL OUT AN AD CARD....be mindful of your number of relievers/starters/catchers etc. so that you are able to complete your draft selections. YOU MAY NOT SPEND MORE THAN 76 MILLION ON THE DRAFT SITE. Otherwise it is impossible to draft 8 more players on the TSN AD card in an 80M league.

4) Fear Uncle's team, but take his advice with a grain of salt.
