it's actually much better (in my opinion) to have those last scrub roster spots filled via the TSN draft than online draft, these players are all of the .50 variety (for the most part), it's also MUCH quicker

It's been awhile since I used Penn's site, does anyone know what the group input area is for in setting up proxies? Because of the lack of internet access at work I'm relying heavily on proxies so I'd like to be sure that I'm setting them up right in order to avoid unintended delays.

Go to the draft page scroll down to System Options and click on help. there is an explanation there of how to create proxies and it talks about groups.

Group is best used when, for example, you are interested in picking up a first baseman, and there are two or three first basemen that interest you. So you can go on with gr 1 priority 1 for the first baseman you prefer, and then gr 1 priority 2 for the first baseman you prefer second (and I make sure that I said yes to "delete if group picked" to make sure that this second case is deleted if I pick my first choice, and then go on with gr 2-1 for a player on another field position.

Personally, I never used the "round" subsection, but I do use the "group" section.

Ok cool, thanks guys, I understand the group thing now. I had never messed around in the system options part before so I never saw the help section. That group subsection thing actually sounds pretty handy.
