Guys, at this point in the draft I'm going to encourage all of us, me included, to leave some proxies so we can keep moving a bit. This is especially true if you have a pick near the corner & it may come back to you quickly. Thank you for your attention.

I know what you mean Cube. I am grinding through every pick and agonizing during the long intervals between them as I see guys like Swisher & Sizemore get taken in front of me. I should be set at the #3 & #4 holes for the next 5+ years with Pronk & Pujols, but man it is killing me to see so many of my other top picks get tabbed. There's a lot more permanency to it...feeling like if you screw up a pick then you REALLY screwed up....

That said, we gotta relax & have fun with it too. I think there will be some interesting trades coming after Round 10 or so....just a guess...

I know what you mean niners...stratnge draft in the sense that I have been constantly picking (or my proxies get) my 4th or 5th choice. Even my picking Wells with my #1 was a bit of a "[i:bd2e9e02bf]I'll get him since I couldn't any of my initial picks...and the way things are going he ain't comin' back[/i:bd2e9e02bf]" afterall he still has to hit his peak as a hitter and is already solid as is. (#1 pick for this format in my book.)

Love the format though...I'm a bit older than what I initailly wanted but hey... :D ...it's all good, none of us getting any younger, eh?

Now if only Stoney could stop getting my next choices right before I pick or right after I pick :evil: :P

You know the good thing about these halts is that it lets me catchup on proxies 8)

BTW, anybody knows why cube has two Ensbergs, two picks 37?

I was wondering about the Ensberg twins also.

C2, Glad I took some of your picks. I hate a draft where no one complains that I took their player.

I liked the Wells pick. I have the same struggle you mentioned. When do you take the player you want? Most of the time that player is gone by the time the draft gets back.

Cummings - think Penn's site has a glitch in it - saw something similar in a Tour draft I'm in right now. If it shows up again & is not just a duplicate, we may have to do some manual noting....
