Exactly...INF in or a runner held, higher letter applies, assuming the result comes off the hitter's card (1-3).
If off the pitcher's card (4-6), the result stands as read...except if there's a K, BB, Single or Double, then you read the Pitching Hit and Run adjustments, which simply treat As and Bs in the same column...
So there are no "natural" As except as dictated by defensive situation if off the hitter's chart, and if off the pitcher's card an A or B is treated identically.
