I do the same thing but in a low tech way. I write down the 25 guys I want with pencil and paper and make sure they are less than 80m. If someone takes one of my guys he gets erased and I look for a replacement which could give me more money to upgrade at another unpicked position. I've been pretty lucky as only one of my projected players has been erased so far!

That reminds me of the Schwarzenegger movie THE ERASER.

I'm like Sandy. I create a simple spreadsheet and allocate $$ per position so I can keep track of what I've already picked and budget for future picks.

Really helps when you see a player you really want and then realize you will have too sacrifice somewhere else.

LM, I was looking at other guys but in a RH park and Tejada & Jeter gone (obviously Arod), Rollins is the player I like and I didn't think the draft would go all the way down and back without him being taken. So...

P.S. I'd also prefer not to have picks in CAPS, or any extra stuff like Birth Dates, etc. Gee, when are you guys going to grow up?! :?

And since I'm at it, one more thing. When you're drafting players with a common last name put the first initial also. Not the full freaking name, but a first initial will do.

I was going to just let that rant slide but......I can't.

First of all I'm a grown man and we are all playing a kids game so don't tell me to grow up.

I posted the name Young in the interest of keeping the draft moving because our overwraught commish was lamenting the fact that people don't hang around the computer all day.

I was then prodded by an increasingly obnoxious member of this draft who couldn't make a basic assumption without a snide comment.

And what's the big deal if if I put down first name , last name, position and GD serial #.

If this upsets you let me know...I will back out now so you can find a replacement.
