Shortstops: Cabrera v. Everett/2(8) v. 1(16)

OK, neither will hit. I have a very strong hitting team in Minute Maid and, particularly since I'm going with Polanco (3/5) at 2B, I need to best possible glove at SS. What do you guys make of the relative defensive value of a
2-8v. a 1(16). If it helps, I don't have many strikeout pitchers in the rotation, or in the bullpen.

Thanks.

1e16 is the better glove. Both are normal hitters---important in MM.

I say go with Everett.

I would take Everett. In addition to great defence, he also has some power and speed.

Another vote for Everett.

I recently used him in Coors and he did hit 15 HR's...

Everett is one of the better values in the game.

Get a GOOD backup becuase he'll be hurt a lot.

I like to platoon him with Izturis.
