My son Jonny will be spending 2 weeks this summer at Catalina camp which is the second time he will be part of a wonderful life lesson experience. Boni and I will fly to LA on July 9th for the day and spend an evening at the incredible Four Seasons Hotel in LA. Now here's what I tried to slip by her today. I said that our plane will land at approximately 10:30am in LA and it will be way to early to check into the property (normally it's a 3pm checkin)... So I proposed a day game with the Dodgers and Giants since it's Sunday and the game is scheduled to start at 1:10pm. I thought it was a great idea and I really wanted to see the Giants/Dodgers with Barry Bonds. But...........it didn't hit home so instead I will be heading to Gucci at Rodeo Drive instead.... It's not a total failure because the store has a bar and I think that the game will be televised while my darling wife checks out the latest fashions....Not a complete failure until I see the bill....lol,lol,lol.....Just a little update on our baseball adventures.....Bobby :D :D :D

Bobby, don't forget to at least pretend to give your full attention when she asks you how something looks. By all means do NOT just say "Yes, yes, whatever..." while trying to look around her to see the screen!

If there is a way to check in early, you could always get "sick" and "regretfully" have to stay behind at the hotel. As long as it takes women to shop you should have plenty of time to see the full 9 and be back to the hotel before she suspects a thing. The only problem would be financing both the game and the shopping bill!

Sounds like a 20 minute drive for me to Rodeo. If you like Deli a famous Deli is very close.

I'll be wearing the black SOM teeshirt.
