Amen to that brother. I have a job that is pretty darn cool right now, but yet I keep waiting for my last child to get into scholl so that my wife can go back to work and I can then figure out a way to get off the road.

My whole family is in Europe right now (on vaco) and I am home alone (because I had a two week golf event when they left and another before they come home) and it will be 6 weeks in a row of me not seeing them.

Add in the 10 weeks in a row I had at the start of the year with the Olympics, Golf and Horse Racing and you have a very lonely and sad Sandy.

Moral: NEVER, NEVER undervalue or undercherish the importance of family and spending as much time possible with those that you love the most.

Nice write-up Beach, but the ole reverse psychology stuff ain't gonna work on me. I already [i:9ed6f3f158]had[/i:9ed6f3f158] the big head.

Nevertheless, we welcome you to Jeep Stadium tonight!

Seeing as we are down to the wire, it's time to start thinking about NLD 14.

Semper was the biggest/loudest detractor for the 100mil cap

but he's out now, and Sandy is back. So

do we want to keep the 100mil for the next go around or go back to 80 mil

Vote time:

100 mil [b:1b8bbd58a2]1 [/b:1b8bbd58a2]vote

80 mil [b:1b8bbd58a2]0 [/b:1b8bbd58a2] votes

Don't forget that Korkie should be back after a one season sabbatical. 8)

I appreciate getting to play here again. It certainly was fun after a while away. If the situation arises from time to time for a one season fill-in like NLD 13 with Korkie, holler at me. I enjoyed being the "bench" player here and would look forward to popping into the NLD every now and again if the services of a pinch-hitter is required.

Nothing against Shrink, but seems to me that Beach should have first shot at staying if he wants. Personal opinion. Someone should contact Korkie and make sure he's coming back first!

As for salary cap we vote for 80. There's no strategy to 100 mil. Might almost not even have a cap. Boo hiss 100 mil stinks!!!

AT and Qksilver split 1-1. Jeep abused twice me to go up 2-0. Apparently, that Lou Holtz thing only works if you are actually Lou Holtz.

Considering my overall record in the playoffs, and how my team had the weakest home record of any playoff squad, earning a split was about what I was hoping for.

Of course qksilvers squad was one of the few teams I had trouble with even after the changes, so I'm not so sure we'll have much success in his park either. ;)
