Original Keeper League (OKL) 2006 Season - We're Underway!!

Not to rain on your parade, but the Keeper league I justed started drafting in has done 31 rounds in 4 days. :wink:


This one is moving S L O W, especailly using penn's site.

I think you mean opinion not fact. ;)

Interpretation of speed is an opinion not a fact.

If a car at 90 mph passes a car at 55mph, that car will of course look like it is going quite slow, but that does not mean 55mph is slow (still fast enough to kill in a collision), especially not to a third car moving at 30mph. ;)

Fact: Draft moving at 2 rounds per day average

Opinion: 2 rounds per day is slow

Considering how much the pre-prep dragged on, I'd say we're having splendid progress.

btw -- sorry about the holdup earlier. Had a baseball game to get to -- not mine, my 7 year old's.

Anyways, I set a few proxies and will find myself going to bed now.

I see it - not quite sure how it occured though - and you guys have swapped so many draft picks I've lost track of the actual draft order. :shock:

Send penngray an e-mail (click on the support link at the bottom of the draft site) ... or perhaps pm BC Manager with the player you would have taken and he can drop one of his 2 and pick one up with his odd extra pick.

However as far as I can tell you already had a pick in the 8th round, and have a pick in the 9th also ... unless you acquired a 2nd 8th round pick from another owner? :?:

I didn't acquire picks from anyone. So I have no idea how I got two picks in a row. I can drop the second pick. I am annoyed that my next proxy was revealed with this glitch but I don't see anything that can be done about it.

Ok I think I figured out how the glitch occured.

I had gone in to make a pick since it was my turn, and had accidentally clicked on 'skip pick' instead of 'make your pick'. That must have confused the draft applet, which went immediately to bc manager and processed one of BCs proxies ... then when I actually did make my pick, it assumed it was BCs turn again and processed another pick at the same pick # (93).

I don't think it skipped over any owner, since Aray0113 already had an 8th round selection, unless Aray had acquired a 2nd 8th round pick in a trade, and then went on to vince's pick, whose turn we are at now.

BC: I think only Vince, AF Dickie & Cubit could select Calero before your next turn, and I am sure any & all of them would let us know if they had been planning to pick Calero.

I know for sure he wasn't on my agenda. ;)

Yeah, the second pick just appears to be an extra pick -- there are 13 picks showing in the 8th round.

Don't understand how your move caused this AT.

So, I should just drop my second pick, I guess?
