......but on the other side of the coin do you want to take a first baseman if there is a run on third basemen and all 10 of your first basemen still there........

I can see a hesitancy to set proxies especially when you may have to wait 40 picks for your next pick.

I like setting proxies to get to my pick, and then keep watching the board in case there is a run, I guess I am lucky I can do that. Of course, now I am going to play a softball game and will not be back until later tonight....with 12 picks until me...

Bigmahon I was going to take hisle, but it took me a while to decide between him and brown. I was not sure what the best decision was. Thanks for making that an easy decision.

Roosky, I gave Brown some serious thought. In the end, I just liked Hisle's OPS and speed a little better.

It really is agony watching all the guys I had on my list being taken right before my eyes. Ever since I screwed up my #4 pick, I am NOT liking my team... :x

LH, you are right! He was the best, most obvious, RH PH still around. I was holding my breath from pick 118 to 123, that he wouldn't get snapped up! Great pick on your part! :(
Sykes, thanks for the info on proxies. I'm still fudging my way through how they work as this is my first time using Penn's site. I wasn't sure how to group them!

Pinch hitters? Are people really picking pinch hitters at this point? I'm still filling my everyday lineup.

PH in this instance meant power hitter. My lineup isn't even half complete yet! Pickins are getting slim already. :(

If you hadn't guessed already I plan on relying on my bullpen a dreat deal. This player pool is so thin it is amazing how little is left already. It will be interesting to see what kind of teams do well.
