Coors proves to be a pitcher's paradise. Only 16 runs scored at Coors versus 22 runs at Minute Maid - and that 22 includes a shutout of the Pepe's squad in Game 2!

Good luck to Jeep tonight. Dontrelle lasted all of 0 2/3 innings against Jeep in Game 1. Kind of hoping for a tad bit more in tonight's unexpected but certainly welcomed Game 5. :wink:

We have booked a charter and are ready to go to beautiful AT Park in historic Ottawa. I love Canada at this time of year. Plus, all 25 players on the Umbrella Shack know the words to "O Canada" which could make for a nice national anthems ceremony prior to the start of Game 1. :D

I am not sure who I'd rather face ... however as my team does better on the road I might want to play Jeep so I can have 4 road games. :roll:

I guess you can say there's strategy to the 100 mil draft, but the problem is, that cap doesn't really come into play until you get to the platoon guys. Mostly you draft the best available player. Blah. :(

Thanks Beach and Wow!! That game could have went either way...

Here's a quick summary:

Beach jumps up 4-0. I score 8 unanswered to go up 8-4. Beach comes back with 6 unanswered to go up 10-8. Then I score 4 in the bottom of the 9th to win 12-10, the last 2 on a Cruz, Jr. walk-off. Obviously there were a lot of rolls off the hitters' card in that final inning. I'm very lucky Beach, that game could have went to you just as easily. I guess playing at home won this series for me, cause we were obviously evenly matched.

You hate to see a friend lose. Beach, you're a great competitor and good sportsman, I can't wait 'till we have another playoff series.

Now I wish luck to another friend, a guy I've met twice in person, Mr. Arryl Tremaine. The Finals will be a wild ride I'm sure! :)

Kudos to Beach for a strong series - and especially a strong season - if I recall correctly, and it probably got lost in the Cinderella story my team became, Beach's squad was in last place overall early on and he came back to snare the Wild Card.
