Dream team or a nightmare? the Banditos VII- X series

Banditos VII- most well rounded line up because of cochrane-http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/atg2/team/team_other.html?user_id=112975

Bandittos VIII- the best team pitching I think

Banditos IX- the coolest lineup because of the outfield

Banditos X- my favorite bull pen

I've been trying out the Teddy ball theory (as much as I can make out what the heck it is) at Forbes;
My strat was to get the best OBP/AVg/Clutch at each position under 10 million.

Then pick up what I could for Pitching, going for the solid, well rounded types. ie..just hold on till the htting wears their team down.

Can these teams win?
Have I completely missed the idea of Teddy ball? Does my subtraction of a good OBP Catcher pervert the idea too much?
The seasons are early for all these teams, so we'll see what happens. A few are off too insane OBP starts. Team X is my favorite, but they are in a darn tough league and division. My heart may be broken

Any sugestions on batting order would be appreciated.
Should I have Speaker go 1st, it seems like a waste due to his Clutch

Since all except Gehringer have mega clutch, I lean towards batting him first. But in the original Teddy Ball example, he had them go by OBP in order- should I do this as well.

Researching was a blast, for example- just based on RC at Forbes- I figured the top 5 outfielders to be

Cobb/Stan/Speaker- roughly the same, but Stan had neg clutch

Jackson/Stephenson- a big notch down

then McKosky/Culyer/Simmons- another notch down

Jones/Keller/Gwynn/Yaz- again

Aaron/Ott/Rettenmun/Furrilo- and again

Once I looked at price, Clutch and OBP, the choices seemed obvious as to who were the best players- Cobb/Speaker/Jackson/Stephenson/Culyer/Jones/Keller and Furrilo for his glove, although I'd drop it down to the 3/4/5 million guys instead of Furrillo.

Any thoughts criticic, nay sayers are welcome

Hey, I'm in the same tough league as your Banditos X team... as bad as you believe your bullpen to be, you should note that mine may be worse (my #1 reliever has an ERA of 16.92 and a WHIP of 3.38

It'll be interesting to see how your implementation of Teddy Ball plays out in that league (you should enjoy facing my team when they come to town)

Of all the teams you posted, I like VIII the best, with that starting staff... without looking at the rest of the league's teams, I'd say that team should do well... I'd like to manage such a team, but maybe with Jackie Robinson somewhere to give some more punch (maybe at 3B?).

Good luck with all...
