1/2 credits

1/2 credits

Postby LARRYLANG » Thu Jun 08, 2006 8:05 am

I am quite sure with the amount of posts that have been made here that this subject has came up before but I am wondering why you get nothing for at least making the playoffs...Making the playoffs, period, is a big deal for most of my sorry teams...Heck, at least give 1/2 credits to the two playoff 1st round losers.....Strat-0 is making money hand over fist with this game......can't see where it would make that much difference.....I think people would be more likely to play if they had a little better chance to win credits....IMO it would make things more exciting and really bolster the game and increase signups...Just my 2 cents.

Yeah Right :!: :!: You figure 100.00 for each div and $300.00 for each league with someone occasionally using a free credit....No one can tell me they are not just killing em' in the black

They gross $225 per league..I doubt they're making money hand over fist. To be honest, I don't mind the format as it stands now. I think the CHAMP deserves 2 credits and runner-up deserves 1. Just my opionon.

Each team you buy requires payments to SOM as well. It's all not cash in the pocket of TSN. It's fine the way it is. $24.95 for 6 weeks of entertainment is pretty darn cheap compared to other habits.

Obviously someone doesn't understand how much things like servers and liscensing fees really cost.....

Besides the games don't develop themselves

1) strat fees
2) Developers
3) website/tech costs

Let's say $225 per league. To make it easy lets assume $125 in liscencing fees, web hosting, etc...

$100 per league. How many league do you need to run to get 5 people making $50,000 (including benefits).

$250,000/$100=2,500 leagues Do you think we have that many each year?

The reason the other games are so cheap is volume, they have 100,000+ play fantasy sports.
