dodger 65 outfield

dodger 65 outfield

I have Ennis in RF, was thinking about moving Simmons to RF and picking up Riggs in LF, but I have little pop in the lineup and could probably use Ennis's 30+ HR's.

anyone have experience with either in Chavez ravine

To me it looks like a balanced team . I would keep Ennis for his pop . He may not hit 300 but I would think 280 with 30 hr and 100 rbi's is still very doable . Leave it alone now ! Its what would be best at this point . :D

Ok , after a 2nd look . I see one option that may be a good one for you . Put Stan in LF move Simmons to RF and take Ennis' money and get a good Defensive 1B who can hit . If your not going to do this then keep it the same and keep Ennis .

Was going with Speaker to lead off.
look something like this:

Lineup vs. LHP
1. Speaker, Tris (L) CF
2. Aparicio, Luis (R) SS
3. Musial, Stan (L) 1B
4. Simmons, Al (R) LF
5. Ennis, Del (R) RF
6. Gardner, Larry (L) 3B
7. Sanguillen, Manny (R) C
8. Whitaker, Lou (L) 2B
9. Pitcher P

Lineup vs. RHP
1. Speaker, Tris (L) CF
2. Whitaker, Lou (L) 2B
3. Musial, Stan (L) 1B
4. Simmons, Al (R) LF
5. Ennis, Del (R) RF
6. Gardner, Larry (L) 3B
7. Sanguillen, Manny (R) C
8. Aparicio, Luis (R) SS

Maybe use Musial in leadoff or #2

Its almost like you need one more hitter who's got some speed . I think it will work though . Speaker at leadoff all the way . Aparicio in the 2 whole vs LH I guess will work . :D

I have to think about batting Aparichio 2nd. It may go Musial then Speaker or vise versa.

I'd let Speaker leadoff both ways . You kind of need a #2 hitter IMO . Who's available at 1B? Judge would be a good one for that but you'd lose a ton of rbi's. McCormick out there? He's a good rbi man !

I've got an idea ! Bass in RF and hitting 2nd . I use him in the leadoff spot which he could do here also . He has a bit of pop and natural hr's and speed . Not sure how he would do at your park .

Neither of them are on the wire, might go with Devore outright. Platoon him and Ennis. He's got the speed and better D, could go against RH'ers
