24 League 69 style

Our historical single season sets

This is ONE TOUGH DRAFT...to elaborate, when I got Maury Wills in the 5th round, I had Hebner listed 2 and Billy Williams listed 3 and THOSE WERE THE NEXT TWO PICKS AFTER ME

For Round 6, Lemaster was my only pitcher...I had 3 THREE leftie bats listed before him (and I was 5 picks away)...and Callison, Murcer and Unser (who all were not the top priced remaining players left), were picked in succession right before my pick! WOW

Hence, I get Steve Hovley that famous Hall of Famer (I do remember his baseball card, sort of held the bat like Roy White did) as a Lefty bat in the 7th...pretty slim pickings

Guys, I apologize, but as discussed above, today is one of the high holy days and I have not been at my computer, also I thought the clock was turned off. I did set some proxies, but after the fiasco that happend to me with my third pick, I was not going to over do it.

BTW, I am still looking at offers for either Belanger or Cardenas. Clearly some teams are going to need a good SS.

T-Rich, I sent you a pm.

I may not be the only one in this boat but because of the limited AB's with a lot of these players, I think I need a better grasp on how the injuries work. I pulled out my board game rules to look at those charts but I have no idea if they differ from this version or if some other version is being used. Does anybody have an idea, or link, to an injury chart that would indicate how many games vs PA's a player can be injured for?

Over 600 PAs....3 games max
Under 600 PAs....up to 15 games
That is the simple analysis....I believe if a player has over 680 PAs, you can not be injured for more than that game but not 100% sure about that part

By PA's...is that already taking into account BB's or no? In other words, when you look at a guys card and he has 550 AB's and 50 BB's, do you consider PA=550 or 600? I would think the latter but I'm not sure...

Hakmusic, To safely use proxies look at Sykes' post a page or two back in this forum. The important thing to remember is to use groups and make sure to select "yes" on delete if group picked. That way if you need a 1B and put proxies on 10 1B all in the same group and all marked Yes on delete if group picked, then you will get your top rated 1B proxy and the rest of that group will be deleted after that selection. Your proxies will then go on to your next group of player proxies.

[quote:7ec523e87a="Coffeeholic"]I'd like to thank those of you who have endeavored to keep the draft moving along! 8)

Either through your use of proxies, or your frequent checking on the status of the draft, is extremely considerate to [b:7ec523e87a]most[/b:7ec523e87a] of the rest of us who are also doing are best to keep this very long draft moving.[/quote:7ec523e87a]

Apparently, Coffee wasn't referring to himself!

It just goes to show, b*tching about others in live drafts [b:49746dcb14]always[/b:49746dcb14] comes back to bite you on the arse. :P

I have another question regarding the injury rating.

Does TSN/SOM use HBP in the counting of Plate Appearences?

That could make some of the 595 AB+BB people over 600.

Anyone know?
