The following are the tournament seeds. As discussed in another thread, we have decided to use these seeds to set the field for the forthcoming rounds. This weekend (after the regular seasons have been completed), I will list the seeds that remain. For round 2, there will be three brackets, which will be arranged as follows:

The remaining 36 teams will be placed in the following brackets:

C - 6, 13, 24, 31
W - 7, 12, 25, 30

I'm sorry if my confusion just demonstrates poor reading comprehension, but I believe MRMS1970 has made the playoffs in his bracket. Does the information above indicate that plays no role in his seeding in the next round? I am squeaking into the next round, but I'm listed above him in the rundown above. Does performance in the first round only matter to the extent that you will get bounced from the next round if you are one of the bottom 3 finishers in the bracket? Will surviving teams get rebracketed based only on our rankings coming in to the first round?

If there's a tie for the ninth spot in a league, how will the tie be broken? There is a close race for the ninth spot in my league (#1).

hecho, surviving teams will be re-bracketed based on the above (original) seedings. although this was not the original plan, it is favored because (1) it allows us to start the bracketing and league creation processes this weekend, (2) it's easier for me, and, perhaps most importantly, (3) tournaments such as these (e.g., NCAA bball - go Gators) are not re-seeded in subsequent rounds.
