Ace, if you are planning on doing a keeper with the ATG seasons, it looks like only these seasons qualify:

'54-'55
'59-'60
'63-'67

I have all except '65 and '67 so I'd prefer you went with '54-'55, '59-'60 or '63-'64. (I like '63 and '64 best).

I also have 2004 and will be getting 2005 with Ver. 11.

Could you post or e-mail me some details on what you guys are thinking about? It looks like a keeper league, using a set of years.
If you keep '54 Mantle and then play '55, do you keep the '54 one or do you jump to the '55?

I don't think the 68 season is a Super Deluxe year, unless it's been upgraded recently.

Is there any interest in using the 2005 season as our base season for the keeper league. We would play each new season after the new version is released so early in the year and then after that is completed select 1 past season to play. Thoughts?

You could start with 2004, then 2005 by that time v12 and 2006 will be out.
Infultrate some HOFers (who cannot be kept) and you got a 3 season keeper and no extra money to spend.

I'm fine with 2004 or 2005; everyone with V10 and 11 should have both of these seasons. I think it would be important to have at least 12 teams though to spread out the talent.

I have a league thats going into its last week. If you guys could put some deffinition on what you were doing, some of those guys may join.

LOL...you mean I might have to pay attention to what's going on with current baseball. (It's hard to be a Cubs fan sometimes...just plain painful to watch. You just know the crap is never going to get better, because the bp gets filled regardless. Here's hoping the Tribune Co. is forced to sell b/c of the trouble with stockholders. I'll stop before I go on a "Fire Baker and Hendry" rant.)

Anyway, I'm in for next year regardless, but I'd like a keeper league starting in '85. (At the end of the year, you can elect to keep a certain number of players--or not--then we draft for '86, and so on.)

But whatever can attract the most players is fine by me. That's probably most important.
