Anybody used Hermanson as primary closer in 2006?

This is my first team in 2006. I'm just wondering if anyone had any success using him as their primary closer. My home park is US Cellular Field.

I like his, especially for the price. I think he is a good fit for the cell:

I haven't used him but just drafted him for US Cell. He appears to be a good bargain. I have used Krod two or three times in favorable parks and I am guessing you would get similar or maybe even better results based on Hermanson walking less than Krod. Maybe 67%-80% saves, which is all you can really expect from the cheaper guys that are half-decent. I guess I would group him in with guys like Krod, Lidge(who I have also used), etc., and considering he';s the cheapest of the bunch, I would definitely give him a try.

I am about to try it. In the Cell in a league with a bunch of power parks. I think he'll be fine. I prefer to spend big cash on an r2 inning-eating set-up guy rather than an expensive closer anyway.

Thanks everyone. I also have Scott Shields as a set up man/back up closer. Normally, I go for a stud closer, but Hermanson's card is not that bad for the price.

had him as my closer on a team that one it all, also use him to close out games against righties in my face to face league, he's solid.
