I'm playing at New Comiskey (aka US Cellular). :)

Seriously though that was a keeper theme league and for the most part I'm only average in 2001 - just 6 playoff appearances and only 1 title. At least I should win enough games to climb into the top 40 LOL. :lol:

My team will be a challenge...the autodraft ripped me apart. I did manage, thanks to a high speed Internet hookup, to snag Manny Ramirea, Chipper Jones and Reuben Mateo off the waiver wire. I really came down at 2B settling for Ray Bull Durham and C setting for Damian the antichrist Miller. Tough season ahead...thanks to all who joined the league. This will be a fight to the finish.

I am fairly happy with my hitting, but my pitching gonna be an issue. Lost out on 2 of my pitchers I wanted, but did pick up PEdro. Still having to go with 5 man rotation. That may get ugly after 1st 2 men. MAy rethink that if I have time to study it.

I did pretty well in the autodraft - got most of my relievers & pitching. Biggest player I missed out on was Miguel Tejada, but Nomar with A. Gonzalez as a backup/late inning defensive replacement suits me fine. :)

Uh... hard to keep up last night. I work on the third shift and can access in between call at my call center. 1230-130 was the prime time frenzy time and I only got a few pickups... However I believe those moves I made were good ones. Buehrle, Burkett and B.Kim shored up an already potent pitching staff.
And being in my first non-pure pitching park in months in going to help my runs. Plus being in Yankee Stadium (which I had forgotten I had taken) is good karma for me.

What reallty sucked for me last night was my browser not able to access the transactions page after 1am EDT. Talk about a handicap. Not being able to see the drops during a frenzy... let's just say I wouldn't recommend it.

Anyone notice that there are few pitchers parks in this league! Sheesssss! Don't spread it around too much... I may want to trade a pitcher or two for additional hitting.
