The passing game was working, the running game was working, and the defense buckled down inside the 20 not allowing any points, it was a classic gridiron ma...

What? This was a baseball game, not a football game? Sorry, I was thrown off by the 28-0 score!!

Every starter had at least two runs scored, 3 players had 4 hit games, 2 other had 3 hit games. Possibly most shocking of all, only 2 homeruns.

Making the most when it counts: Classic pitcher's duel between J. Santana & C. Carpenter at RFK. Andruw Jones breaks up no-no and leads the Sin City DD Bangers to victory with their only hit of the game being his solo HR in the 1-0 victory.

[quote:1b5cdbaf0b]Jeep..that's phenomenal. My only question: Why was he hitting leadoff? [/quote:1b5cdbaf0b]

So he could hit that walk-off homer in the 12th to win

19 Inn Semi-Final Marathon Ends 1-0 w/Walked-In Run

An amazing Semi-Final game between Qksilver and myself. Gustavo Chacin takes a No-No to the 8th. A total of 31 stranded runners - plenty of opportunity to score. J.J. Putz, pitching 5 1/3 inns in relief, walks in the winning run after 2 walks and a single loaded the bases.

Mercker gets the win following Carrasco's 5 and Helling's 4 innings of no-run relief.

No big fireworks, but I'd have paid good money to see a 19-inning playoff nail-biter
