Why no, they should be able to be used only as starting pitchers if someone wants, like using Bay in CF if so desired.

He also won a title by default when the 2 guys who were supposed to fight for the title were disqualified becauses one guy got in a car accident and the other guy was thrown in jail. Beyond that, I can only say that hands of stone has to do with the horrible fielding we are all about to witness in this new league.

Dave Kingman is a good manager for this league. It's guys like Kingman that they invented the DH.
I ran out of tater references and decided to go with Tax dude references in this league. :wink:

Gents,

I will not be able to put my team in until next week. I just now checked the message board, but I will not have time to put a team in today. I've never played the 2006 Game and I have not yet reviewed the players (other than the Excel download sheet). I also got LOTS of work items to clear up in the next two hours...

I'll be leaving for a flight later this afternoon for vacation, returning on Wednesday, June 21.

While I hope to get some quality SOM time in while on vacation, it is not bloody likely. I will be able to submit my team on 6/21 or 6/22, plenty of time in advance of the proposed July start time.

But not quick enough for some of the owners in this league, I suspect. I totally understand any such frustration.

I'm NOT quitting - I love the theme concepts and this group of owners is great! I'll have my team in on 6/21 or 6/22!!!! :!:

I got this baby started early so people could have time to look over this because it is different for some, plus players such as yourself don't do a lot of the current leagues. You may be the last in or not, but no biggie. Enter at your leisure becuase technically(or not technically) we are still in June and I am getting mashed (oooo a spud reference) in Gene's league anyway.
