Now that we are full anyone care to share their draft order? Mine was:

1. Hector Carrasco (stud)
2. Julio Lugo (trying to replace the O from the loss of Michaels)
3. Brad Radke (should be good in PETCO)
4. David Bell (platoon with Figgins)
5. Papelbon (I have seen him do well in other leagues. Spot start for Radke on the road maybe?)
6. Giovanni Carrara (one of the better RP under 1M IMO)
7. John Grabow (just wanted a LH RP)
8. Cintron (see below)
9. Podsednik (LF was empty)
10. Jason Johnson (has pitched better than he should in leagues I have seen)

OK that team was bad. Theme league where I was limited only to players from the NL west and AL west. Cintron got extensive playing time because Betancourt sucked at the plate. Check out the number of doubles he had in 344 ABs. If he had started all year that would translate to about 40 doubles with a . 275 BA for under 1M. What I'm trying to say is I would never want to start him but he is a quality backup player for 2B & 3B.

My apologies Uncle (AND league), but for what it's worth I DID do a "Control F" serach for Pujols' name. I was surprised when I saw he was available and so I made him my number one choice. Of course I got him but as he in fact is YOURS I am now scewed (but I did it to myself -- just my ill-fated last pick in this draft).

I LOVE this format, but next time I guess I can't do it AND the US Open at the same time.

What befuddles me Sandy is how you went from no extra dollars (hence the Pete Walker steal pick) to being able to afford Pujols. :?

Secondly, didn't you also do a "control F" on the three players you picked (in the last round) that were already drafted? :wink:

You misinterprted me. I made the Walker knowing that I would LOSE Ramirez and that the two together would allow me to AFFORD Pujols. So I "took" Pete with Albert already in mind.

You'll notice I already admitted as much. Won't be using those in the future. Never failed me before though. :?

What I meant was that since you knew the "control-F" didn't work, why did you then fill out your card using the same method...but I think what you're saying is you filled out your remaining card[b:1fcf8c5c40] prior[/b:1fcf8c5c40] to your last pick. Perhaps when you found out it didn't work that might have clicked on a light in that brain of yours that you need to go back and check your card. LOL, just picking on you. You wasn't the only one to make a mistake, however, judging from the 4 or 5 trades made today. :lol: :wink:
