Marcus - thanks for explaining your rationale. I'm with you 100% that playing to the code and helping HAL help you win is what it's all about.

David - Radke for Maddux is an awesome move. You just traded in 15 losses for 15 wins. Just my opinion, but I'd be inclined to sit with Davis (and offer him on the trade block) rather than drop him for either Lieber or Lowe (who are both too susceptible to HR vs RHP and only 6*, which will put a strain on your pen now with Radke in the mix). Any chance you could move Davis for Smoltz or Arroyo? Arroyo cheap and ideal in your situation (two US Cell on rd), very few HR.

Some other thoughts...

- Keep Figgins, bat him leadoff and lose B Giles for a top-deck RH power hitter. Any chance you can move him or dump him for Bay, M Ramirez, M Cabrera...?

- If not Figgins at 3B?... Not at all a fan of Randa for your park. Hall okay, Mora too if avail in that price range... Think about forsaking defense at 3B and going with Cantu or A Ramirez -- either will post 30+ HR in your park.

- If you do go ahead and downgrade from Davis to a mid-price 6* SP, take that extra payroll and upgrade R Hernandez to Carrasco or Heiling. Both R3, low BP HR. R Hernandez is going to hurt you in US Cell.

Good looking team. Keep Davis, you'll be very pleased w/ him there.

I'm not a fan of Sexson here. You're going to see too many RHP for him at this position and at this price. I'd trade him in look for a RHH that is stong vs RHP.

IMHO, I'd trade in Rusch for Padilla or McClung.

Are you going to use Endy vs LHP to spell Guillen?

I'm at work and don't have access to the FAs, but I think you're going to need some more pen help.

Ay!

Not sure that the people will like this one.

I like Helling, especially if you are not limited to 200 innings. His R3 can eat up a lot of innings. Make sure to have Carpenter on slow hook, so that Helling gets a needed rest.

Bay is dynamite in your park. You are looking solid. Good example of a team designed to go balls to the wall in the home park.

Couple of last minute thoughts. Youk is probably your #2 hitter, maybe, if not Giles and Duffy? I'd take that payroll you've got and consider an upgrade at 3B if available. I like Youk, but I'm thinking you could probably buy either an N guy versus RHP with some serious pop, a guy who has at last 600 PA, or one more LH hitter, to bring you some balance. If those options aren't available, I'd keep him and look for a better cheap backup option. He's gonna miss some games for ya. Otherwise...?

RHP
Giles
Youk
Bay
Sexton
Soriano
Duffy
Guillen
Tejada
Ross
