Moving Outfielders in Late Innings

Moving Outfielders in Late Innings

Postby rjohaire » Thu Jun 15, 2006 8:28 am

I have Hack Wilson in CF abd OTT in RF.
Is there a way to move Ott to CF in the late innings with a lead?

I set Ott as a defensive replacement in CF. But HAL won't do it. Rather he replaces Ott and Wilson with scrubs in the late innings.

Thx Juma.
Looks like I had it right, just have to uncheck "remove for defensive sub with a lead"/
I'll try it.

Well, I unchecked remove for defensive replacement.
I have Ott to replace the CF and Fox to replace the RF.
It replaceses Ott in RF but never Wilson in CF.

Any other suggestions

The info in that previous thread is completely incorrect. You need to put the guy who is coming off the bench as defensive replacement #1, and the guy who is already in the game and moving as defensive replacement #2. (You can also do it as #3 and 4, but it will not work in any other combination of slots.) Then you mark the player being removed from the game as "remove with lead."
