Love Hornsby and he would be a monster in the Polo Grounds. But the #'s that Gordon and Campy would put up would be HUGE compared to the Hornsby and Fosse/Bochy combo. Plus Gordon is a 1 at 2nd so all GB are DPs w/ a runner on 1st(e-rating excluded). I would go w/ Gordon and Campy.

I second Frank. Hornsby is a beast, of course. But, the Campy-Gordon combo would be a better combo. Two very good hitters in Polo vs one great hitter and a scrub pair. I'd take the two very good hitters.

That's kind of I was thinking, appreciate the comments guys. I think I'm leaning that way but Hornsby never gets hurt and campy always does, aaargh! :? :x

I had Gordon & Campy on a recent Baker Bowl team----and as Frank M stated, I led the league in DPs with Gordon at 2b(with Banks at ss).

Gordon went .251, .462, .315, and although he disappointed a little, he's not the lineup hole in polo that Fosse/Bochy would be.

Campy went .270, .562, .341(43 HR, 122 RBI) and only missed 10 games!

Alright, that's 3 votes for Gordon/Campy, I am trusting your guys' expert opinions, especially since my teams have sucked lately. Thanks. :)
